Electro Optics Marketing
Manager
|
Manage the formulation and implementation
of marketing plans for the US defense targeted market
for the Electro Optics Business Unit. Assure effective communication with
pertinent Department of Defense (DoD) and Prime
Contractor customer community, current and prospective, to assess
customer requirements, apprising the customer community of the
company’s capabilities relative to their requirements. Identify and
evaluate potential opportunities and develop marketing plans for
identified market segments. Recommend priorities for the company’s
IR&D efforts that will support and contribute effectively to the
success of the Electro Optics Business Unit. Lead proposal efforts. Coordinate
efforts between customers and Marketing, Engineering, Contracts and other
key personnel as required for the successful pursuit of new business.
Requires a Bachelor’s degree in an engineering or other technical
discipline and 5-10 years DoD marketing
experience.

Manager, Sales &
Marketing – International – Avionics
|
Manage the formulation and implementation
of marketing plans for International defense related business development
for Near and Middle East, Asia and parts of Europe with product emphasis
on Land, C4I, Reconnaissance/Surveillance, Avionic Upgrade, Helmet
Mounted, Air & Ground Targeting, and Security systems. Identify and
pursue new business opportunities. Identify and evaluate potential
business opportunities. Maintain effective communications within the
assigned customer community, current and prospective, for the purpose of
assessing customer requirements, apprising the customer community of
capabilities relative to their requirements, and coordinate efforts to
satisfy the customer requirements. Develop and manage presentations to
customers in support of sales efforts for assigned area. Develop Win
Strategies for specific programs and lead activities for Bid/No-Bid
recommendations. Actively participate in proposal preparation to include
development of proposal themes and strategies, assuring that proposal
addresses customer requirements and recommended pricing. Coordinate
efforts between customers and Marketing, Engineering, Contracts and other
key personnel as required for successful pursuit of new business. Propose
marketing strategies and contribute to long range plans based on
knowledge of the market needs and the company’s capabilities,
predicted technology trends, and information on competitor’s
efforts. Maintain communications with company engineering organization to
assure up-to-date knowledge of products and technical capabilities.
Assist in formulation of product advertisements and brochures. Represent
Company at trade shows and related activities.
Education and Experience:
This position requires a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration or
Engineering Discipline and 5-10 years of related experience.

New Business Development/
Capture Manager
|
The function of the position is to lead in
the definition of new business development for the U-2 Directorate, of
Surveillance and Reconnaissance Systems, SRS and to play a large role in
the capture of that new business. SRS' U-2 Directorate's business is the
creation of actionable intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance
products through the collection of high spatial quality, spectrally
diverse imagery, day and night through the exploitation and dissemination
of the products to consumers. In order to execute the function,
successful applicants must possess interpersonal communication skills;
have a demonstrated proficiency in dealing with, and some understanding
of, the technologies that affect the business of SRS. The ability to
listen, and correlate user/consumer needs and requirements to the SRS
organic skill sets, and their augmentation - new hires, new technology
capabilities needed, teaming and strategic relationships - is essential
to the successful SRS Business Development function.
The process of performing the duties deemed necessary to develop new
business will include preparation of the strategies for and the delivery
of presentations to customers, both external to SRS for new business and
internally to gather support and resources to enable the implementation
of business capture strategies. Knowledge of the ISR government and
industry community is an imperative, and Security clearances are a must.
Travel will be required to deal with potential and existing customers, as
well as travel to industry facilities to deal with prime contractors,
teammates and business partners.

alongside product developers to characterize and improve new products,

consultation, and troubleshooting.
Technical skills included:
