Description

Principle Contracts Specialist

Prepare, negotiate and administer major complex contracts, including complicated systems for commercial aviation, military or foreign contracts. Represent Company as prime contractor or a major subcontractor, both domestically and internationally, to ensure maximum profits potential and optimum terms and conditions. Achieve assigned profitability and/or sales goals. Work closely with the Business Unit Leaders and Program Managers as well as the Finance organization in the development of negotiation strategies.

Education/Experience:
A Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration and at least 10 years related experience including 2-3 years of international contracts negotiation and administration, or an equivalent combination of education and experience to be proficient in the above areas.

Program Manager – C4ISR

Successfully manage the contract performance for a major Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (C4ISR) business program using a combination of technical and business management skills. Directs program’s management/engineering staff, monitors all aspects of program performance, and acts with full authority to assure the successful efforts of all personnel and functions assigned to the program, and critical to its success, from program inception to program completion. Program involves the application of complex, advanced, state-of-the-art technology with the potential to develop into larger programs. Experience in C4ISR, or Command and Control, market is considered requisite for this position. Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (MS or MBA desired), and 10 years of related engineering and management experience with an emphasis on C4ISR technology.

Engineering Manager of Medical Devices

Manage the design and development of products, processes, and equipment to accomplish assigned product development or product improvement tasks. Define projects and act as a technical leader, including the preparation of manpower estimates, work breakdown structure, and schedules for task completion. Assign personnel to tasks and provide technical guidance for members of assigned programs. Translate customer needs into engineering specifications. Maintain fiscal responsibility for assigned engineering projects. Requires a Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline and 8+ years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience with Program Management, Medical Devices, FDA design controls, and Product Development needed.

Program Director – Avionics

Responsible for the management, performance and completion of assigned programs, working closely with customers and subcontractors. Must be able to prepare program plans that establish the direction, objectives, and methodologies of the program, including schedules, budgets, and technical issues. Interfaces with other departments within the company to prepare cost justifications, recommend priorities, and generate detailed schedules. Monitors program status including cost, schedule, technical, resource availability and keeps management informed in a timely manner of any deviations from the program plan. Ensures corrective action plans are designed and implemented to address actual vs. plan variances. Position requirements: BS degree in Physics/Electrical Engineering/Aeronautics Engineering and 7-10 years of related experience, 4-7 years of which includes proven program management skills. A technical background in Commercial Avionics Systems with a good understanding of Avionics Systems engineering in order to understand the process of product development is essential. Must be able to bridge the gap between business and technology. Requires presentation and interpersonal skills to influence subcontractors, customers and senior members of the company’s staff. A good understanding of electro optics systems, along with some marketing experience would be a plus. The individual selected for this position should be a strong team player and motivator.

Subcontract Admin Manager

Subcontract Manager is the primary/lead interface with Subcontractor on all matters related to the products or services to be delivered. Responsible to create and execute an effective product/service delivery to meet program costs, schedule and technical requirements. Support requests for quotations and proposals and proposed pricing from potential suppliers. Evaluate and monitor supplier quality and reliability as well as supplier ability to support delivery schedules, work with internal customers to ensure specifications. Statements of Work (SOW) are appropriate. Responsible for management of multiple disciplines within the supply chain process.

 

Program Management Experience required. Degree preferred.

Contract Admin (ITAR)

Contract Admin will assess the needs for an ITAR License/Agreement, gather the required information, draft the license/agreement transmittal letter, Department of State (DoS) Export/Import License Form or Technical Assistance Agreement and supporting documentation package. Responsibilities also include insuring compliance with the approved license/agreements including DoS provisos and limitations.

Provide shipping instructions to project personnel and sub-contractors consistent with the ITAR regulations; interfaces with and coordinates export and import shipments with project personnel and freight forwarders; provides freight forwarder with import instructions; maintains accurate records of all shipping documents.

 

U.S. Citizenship is Required. Must be able to obtain Secret Clearance.

Sr. Contract Admin.

Experience in government, commercial, and international contracts. Knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), Defense Acquisition Regulations (DFAS). Negotiate terms and conditions, Statement of Work, price and schedule of major contracts. Participate in the cost, commercial, legal, and performance aspects of proposal preparation. Provide senior contracts management, administration, and negotiations. Requires a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with 10 years of related experience, including 2-3 years of international  contract negotiation and administration.
